Building Future Equestrian Leaders

Road to the Top is a charitable organization dedicated to building the American show jumping teams of the future. Founded by Olympian Kate Prudent, the program identifies, supports, and trains talented, motivated, young American professionals who aspire to the highest levels of the sport. Riders accepted to the program are mentored by icons, Laura Kraut and Katie Prudent, as they receive intensive training on riding, horsemanship, and business aspects of equestrian sport.

This foundation is more necessary than ever to provide the proper education, knowledge and financial support needed to assure that the USA has riders successfully represent the Stars and Stripes at future championships! We are at a tipping point in our sport where the majority of our Grand Prix competitors are not professionals, and our professional riders are struggling for both financial backing and leadership. The need for these efforts has to happen now before we no longer have the depth in our talent pool to sustain being the most successful country in the sport.”
